Jessica Maldonado is a lifelong Wichitan, community advocate, and single mother who believes every person deserves the opportunity not just to survive, but to thrive. Her years of community service and firsthand experience navigating complicated systems have shaped her belief that government should be easier to understand, more responsive, and focused on removing barriers for working families.
Jessica is running for the Kansas House to bring people together, strengthen public schools and communities, lower everyday costs, and make sure every Kansan has a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape our future.
WHAT JESSICA WILL FIGHT FOR
-
Housing, groceries, childcare — it all costs more, and wages haven’t caught up. Jessica will fight rising costs for Kansas families and help working people keep more of what they earn.
-
Why do we keep paying for health insurance that doesn't actually cover what we need? Jessica's tired of it too. She'll fight to lower costs and stop insurance companies from leaving working Kansans to foot the bill
-
A new amendment could make it harder for eligible Kansans to vote. Jessica's fighting to defend voting rights, keep elections secure and accessible, and fight for a government accountable to the people it serves.
